Let’s ease what pains you.

Therapeutic Massage:

MASSAGE

Therapeutic Massage Therapy is defined as the mobilisation of soft tissue (such as muscle, fascia and body fluids) to restore normal systemic and biomechanical/functional use. It can be used to assist in the treatment of most musculo-skeletal and associated problems, and regular Therapeutic Massage Therapy results in improved circulatory, lymphatic and neurological functioning.

We offer the following massage techniques:

SWEDISH MASSAGE:

Swedish Massage is the most traditional form of massage therapy. It involves the application of long gliding strokes to muscles, aimed to improve circulation, reduce tension, and provide full body relaxation.

DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE:

Deep tissue massage is similar to Swedish Massage, as it involves the application of long gliding strokes to muscles, but also incorporates deeper pressures to release trigger points or “knots” in the muscles. The focus is on the deeper layers of muscle and fascia, and is beneficial for chronic muscle pain as well as relaxation.

TRIGGER POINT MASSAGE:

A trigger point is a spot or point in a muscle that is painful and can refer pain to another part of the body. Trigger point therapy involves applying cycles of isolated pressure and release to these areas to reduce pain.

SPORTS MASSAGE:

Sports massage is a form of therapy tailored toward the individual needs of the specific athlete. Our massage therapists have a thorough understanding of the troublesome areas prone to tightness or injury in relation to various sports, and will work with athletes to help them recover from or prevent sport related injuries, aches and pains.

CRANIOSACRAL THERAPY:

Craniosacral therapy involves the application of gentle pressures to the bones and joints of the cranium (head), spine, and sacrum (tail bone), aimed to alleviate pain, promote relaxation, and restore function.

HOT STONE MASSAGE:

Hot Stone Massage involves the use of water heated smooth stones placed over tension points in the body, with or without added pressure. The technique provides a deep heat into the body’s tissues to reduce muscle pain, spasm, promote healing, and provide therapeutic relaxation.

PRENATAL MASSAGE:

Prenatal massage includes the massage therapy techniques used to treat common aches and pains associated with pregnancy, such as pregnancy back and hip pain. Our therapists are trained to safely provide massage treatments to pregnant women to reduce muscle tension, improve circulation to the mother and baby, and enhance relaxation for an enjoyable pregnancy.
