When my dream of becoming an astronaut grew unlikely, physiotherapy was the obvious second choice. I do what I love, keep active, and help others keep active. I graduated from the Dalhousie University Physiotherapy program in 1999 and am the proud owner and Elder Statesman of Spryfield Physiotherapy. I have three university degrees and specialized training in muscle imbalances, acupuncture, manual therapy, occupational testing, and chronic pain. There are not many conditions that I have not treated, and for that matter, have not experienced as I get older. I can usually relate first hand. I am here to listen, develop a treatment plan tailored to your needs, and explain it in a way that makes sense to you. Most importantly, I am here to support you in your journey to a healthier life.
I have enjoyed working in this community for the past 14 years and am very proud of Spryfield Physiotherapy and each of our staff. We are in the process of revamping the gym, which will enable us to offer exercise classes to the general public. We want to be part of building a healthier community, keeping people moving and staying “spry”.
If I am not working, you can usually find me biking in the woods, at the gym, or hanging out with my family. Staying active is important to me, besides the obvious, it allows me to continue with one of my favorite hobbies: eating.
